Football fans have stadiums, computer geeks have the Apple store, and those of us who read….
We. Have. Bookstores. [*happy sigh*]
To say I’m slightly obsessed with bookstores is to say that the Rock, Dwayne Johnson, has a little bit of muscle on him. (And for that, we thank him)

The more hole-in-the-wall,
I’m-just-here-to-read/ leave-me-be vibe, the better!
If they also serve coffee or wine, you may as well unpack your bags. We’re going to be here for a while 😉
Please enjoy & happy reading!
#1: The famous book tunnel
The Last Bookstore, Los Angles
This is a happy place for every book-nerd! I love the tunnel of books and bookshelves. It feels magical every time you walk in!

#2: The palatial theater
El Ateneo Grand Splendid, Buenos Aires
Housed inside an old theater,
can you think of a dreamier bookstore than this?!?!

#3: How about a day in Venice?
An actual floating bookstore!
This 100% seems like something you’d find in Venice!

#4: The City of books
The LARGEST used bookstore in the world …
I can only go there once a year or I’d spend all my monies $$$

#5: An outside bookstore!
The Brattle Book Shop, founded in the Cornhill section of Boston in 1825, has been in the hands of the Gloss Family since 1949. They’re housed in a three-story building in the heart of Downtown Boston and have their “sale shelves” out in the alley beside the store!

#6: Beautiful Architecture!
Livraria Lello, Porto, Portugal
This MIGHT takes the cake as the world’s most beautiful bookstore… seriously. How could you not fall in love with this place???
