I cannot believe that October is basically over (Sayyyy whaaaaa?) when I still have sooo many books I want to get to before popping a bottle of champagne on Dec 31st! 😁

I’m up to 72 books read so far this year (what about you???) and have a giant TBR pile that I swear I’ll get to…

My Two-Cents….

This book was lusciously brutal and oh-so-much fun! It’s set in a “primordial” setting (with, you know, dinosaurs and that kinda thing) but it doesn’t detract from the story at all… it’s more like “What if Jurassic Park was our every-day-life?”

… PLUS there were hot warriors everywhere. And vengeful gods filled with magic.

That’s right, my friends. 😁 Good times were had by all.

Quick Summary:

Though forbidden by the alliance council to kill the corrupt king responsible for his parents’ murders, Maddek vows to avenge them, even if it costs him the Parsathean crown. But when he learns it was the king’s daughter who lured his parents to their deaths, the barbarian warrior is determined to make her pay.
